Q. What is the reason that pores keep on getting bigger?
A. Pores are the main exit that secrete sebum. Therefore, when sebum increases, the pores get bigger.
The pores increase during adolescence due to hormone changes, and after you are 25 years old, they get slightly wider. Thus, pore widening is a natural phenomenon that happens when the skin gets older due to the secretion of sebum and ageing of the skin.
Q. Oily skin vs Dry skin, how can I take care of my skin?
A. The most important thing to do for people with oily skin is to cleanse your face thoroughly. Cleanse your face by creating bubbles and massage gently. Also remove your dead skin cells and sebum about once or twice a week. Do not use scrub products that have big scrub grains because this can actually make your pores wider.
After you wash your face, use astringent to keep your pores tight and apply moisturizer that has little oil in it.
On the other hand, people with dry skin cannot remove dead skin cells which can block the pores and make them bigger. Therefore, it is recommended to clean your pores about once a week. Also, after you wash your face you need to apply a lot of moisture. Dry skin can cause aging and can create bigger pores.
Q. How can you block your pores from getting bigger?
A. 1. Weekly dead skin removal. When you feel like your skin has become darker, rougher, and make up does not
apply well, that is the right time to remove dead skin cells.
2. Try to avoid alcohol and spicy food.
3. Do not squeeze acne with your hands.
Q. Black head can create more pores, squeeze them out VS leave them alone?
A. First of all, it is better to remove black heads both visually and functionally. The best way to remove them at home is to use nose packs, but frequent use can cause the pores to get bigger. One or two times a week is the best according to what skin type you have.
